On October 28, a set of doors didn’t open. An altar was raised.

Desde aquel primer culto, esta casa ha sido un refugio para la comunidad hispana de Sicklerville — un lugar donde se comparte la mesa de la Palabra, donde nadie come solo y donde el que llega cansado encuentra sitio.

Sostener esa mesa cuesta. Cuesta el local donde nos reunimos, los materiales con los que enseñamos a los niños y a los jóvenes, y las bolsas de comida que salen de aquí hacia las casas de familias que están pasando un momento difícil. Tu diezmo y tu ofrenda son lo que mantiene ese trabajo en pie.

No damos por obligación ni por presión. Damos porque hemos sido recibidos primero — y porque la mesa se sigue extendiendo hacia afuera, hacia Sicklerville y las zonas aledañas.

Since that first service, this house has been a refuge for the Hispanic community of Sicklerville — a place where the table of the Word is shared, where nobody eats alone, and where whoever arrives weary finds a seat.

Holding that table up costs something. It costs the building where we gather, the materials we teach our children and young people with, and the bags of food that leave here for the homes of families walking through a hard season. Your tithe and your offering are what keep that work standing.

We don’t give out of obligation or pressure. We give because we were received first — and because the table keeps extending outward, toward Sicklerville and the areas around it.
